It was born out the the Memphis Tomorrow Fast Forward initiative to address the heavily cited need to improve the Memphis workforce in order to support regional economic development efforts.

GMACW born out of the Memphis Tomorrow Fast Forward collaborative was a designated Memphis Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Circle Moon Mission that failed under the initial board of directors and was taken over by new board of directors under the control of EDGE.
